Bio of CEO,
Mark L. Wagar is currently Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Radiologix, Inc. (RGX). Mr. Wagar was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company in May 1998 and added the role of Chairman of the Board in July 1998. With over 25 years of healthcare executive experience, Mr. Wagar has served in a variety of public and private for-profit companies as well as in several not for profit hospitals. Previous positions included President of MedPartners, Inc., Chief Operating Officer of Mullikin Medical Enterprises, and President of CIGNA HealthCare of California. He received his B.A. from The Ohio State University in 1973 and a Masters of Science in healthcare administration in 1976 from The Ohio State University.

Company Profile:
Radiologix (http://www.radiologix.com) is a leading national provider of diagnostic imaging services through (i) its ownership and operation of technologically advanced, multi-modality diagnostic imaging centers, and (ii) its provision of administrative, management and other information services to certain radiology business partners.  Radiologix derives the majority of its revenues from the production and management of diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing technologies such as x-ray, magnetic resonance imaging ("MRI"), computed tomography ("CT"), mammography, ultrasound, nuclear medicine and positron emission tomography ("PET"), as well as general radiography and fluoroscopy.  These images, and the radiology reports that are based on these images, permit ordering physicians to diagnose and manage diseases and injuries more accurately and effectively than would be possible without this clinical information.   Radiologix owns or operates 116 imaging centers located in 18 states, with concentrated geographic coverage in markets located in California, Florida, Kansas, Maryland, New York, Texas and Virginia.

If we can start out, I’m sure people have heard of the name of your company, but exactly what is going on?  Please explain to my readers.

Mr. Wagar: Radiologix is the leading operator of outpatient diagnostic imaging centers in the U.S.  We own and operate 118 diagnostic imaging facilities across the country at which our technologists create diagnostic medical images.

We lease the facility space, we own the imaging equipment and we provide the technological and administrative staff to perform the imaging procedure.  We perform all kinds of medical imaging including, MRI, CT Scans, PET scans, general x-ray, ultrasound, mammography, other forms of nuclear medicine, virtually any kind of outpatient imaging you or your family members may need.

Our customers include patients, referring physicians and hospital partners to whom we provide outsource solutions.
