Intellicheck Mobilisa Receives Army-Wide Authority to Operate

PORT TOWNSEND, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Intelli-Check - Mobilisa, Inc. (NYSE Alternext US: IDN) is pleased to announce that it received an Army-wide Authority to Operate (ATO) for its Defense ID® system.

“We worked closely with the Army for certification and accreditation of this important product,” said Dr. Nelson Ludlow, CEO. “The ATO process is a true testament of the Army’s commitment to the security of information and we are extremely pleased that they recognize the strict security methods employed in our Defense ID system.”

This Army-wide certification allows installations to access the benefits of the Defense ID system. While Defense ID has been in use at several Army forts across the country for the past three years, the award of this system-wide certification now allows procurement by other Army bases nationwide.

Defense ID is an advanced access control system at use at dozens of military and federal secure facilities across the country. Army installations using Defense ID include Fort Belvoir in Virginia, Fort Dix in New Jersey and The US Military Academy in West Point, New York.
