Largest-Ever International IC-ChinaConference & Exhibition Opens Tomorrow in Chengdu – Followed by Shenzhen, Beijing and Shanghai

CHENGDU, CHINA, Feb. 27, 2008Global Sources’ (NASDAQ: GSOL) 13thInternational IC-China Conference & Exhibition
(IIC-China, http://www.english.iic-china.com), opens tomorrow in Chengdu at the Chengdu Century City New International Convention and Exposition Center. The inaugural Chengdu event runs through Feb. 29 and is expected to feature over 100 booths.

 

In 2008, IIC-China’s Chengdu, Shenzhen, Beijing and Shanghailine-up is set to offer mainland China’s engineers over 1,400 booths and more than 400 exhibitors -- up 37 percent and 47 percent, respectively, over 2007.

Saunderson. “For years, IIC-China has deliveredthe latest technologies to the electronics hubs around Pearl River Delta, Yangtze River Delta, Bohai region, and starting from this year, West China.

Eight of the world’s top 10 semiconductorand softwarecompanies are scheduled to exhibit. Exhibitors at IIC-China include:Analog Devices, Atmel, Fairchild Semiconductor, Fujitsu, Intel, Microsoft, NEC, NXP Semiconductors, Renesas Technology, Samsung, Spansion, STMicroelectronics, Texas Instruments, Toshiba Semiconductor and Vishay.
