AURTOIS RESUMES DRILLING ON BELLETERRE EXTREME EAST PROPERTY

Val-d'Or, Québec (Jan 5, 2011) - Aurtois Exploration Inc. (TSX VENTURE: EXA) Aurtois Exploration Inc. (or the "Corporation") is pleased to announce further positive gold results from diamond drilling program on the Corporation's Belleterre Extreme East property in Témiscamingue, Québec. Diamond drill hole AUR-13-10 2.19 g/t Au over 1 metre from 365.20 and 366.30 metres and 2.4 g/t Au over 0.5 metres from 382.95 to 383.0 metres within two quartz veins composed of 90% milky quartz with subsidiary amounts of pyrite, calcite and fushite. This significant intersection is located approximately 200 metres to the north of pit # 5. These significant intersections highlight the presence of two additional zones of mineralization associated with major deformation corridors containing abundant quartz-carbonate-gold veins straddling the altered and fractured portions of mafic volcanic flows.

New core assays from hole AUR-14-10 also identified two additional gold-bearing targets located approximately 500 metres to the southwest of pits # 5 and # 6. Assay highlights include 2.49 g/t over 1 metre from 333.75 to 334.75 metres and 2.49 g/t Au over 2.35 metres from 336.66 to 338.90 metres. These significant gold results are also associated to shear-hosted quartz-carbonmate vein sets.

Aurtois's exploration program keeps rolling in preparation for a projected 5 200 metres drilling program to begin in March 2011.
