--Focus Will Be On Fortune 500® Companies--

LOUISVILLE, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Beacon Enterprise Solutions Group, Inc. As part of the agreement, the two companies will focus their sales and marketing efforts on major enterprise clients that have requirements for information technology and telecommunications products and services, including infrastructure design, passive optical networks and state-of-the-art voice / video / data systems and integration.

SAIC plans to offer customers Secure Converged Solution (SCS) and Passive Optical Local area networking (POL) and other complementary services in joint client opportunities, including consulting, design, implementation services and products and onsite operations management. SAIC SCS solutions include:

  • IT consulting
  • Network design
  • VoIP and other telephony design and installation
  • Building security design and installation
  • Building management systems integration
  • RF / IP video equipment design and installation
  • Smart cities / campus consulting, design and installation

Beacon’s objective is to offer joint clients ITS Management and other professional services that include:

  • Design and Engineering
  • Service Delivery Management (SDM)

  • ITS Construction Management (ICM)

“I am proud to announce the signing of this agreement with SAIC, a highly respected and leading provider of information technology solutions,” said Bruce Widener, CEO of Beacon. “This reciprocal marketing agreement supports Beacon’s focus on managed professional services to Fortune 500® clients. We expect the value-added services will contribute to our organic growth objectives as we focus our business on the most profitable areas in the ITS industry. We look forward to working closely with SAIC under this new Marketing Agreement to offer our respective services to joint clients.”

“The agreement with SAIC represents the continued focus Beacon has committed to solving the complex issues facing our clients, who need to standardize and consolidate in order to reduce both capital and operating expenses,” said Jerry Bowman, COO of Beacon. “One fantastic enterprise solution is the SAIC POL solution that offers government and commercial clients cost-effective, fully converged voice, video, and data networks which eliminate active electronics between the data center and the end user at distances ranging from 40 feet to 40 miles. In addition, the implementation of the SAIC POL means increases in bandwidth speeds and reductions in IT-related power, space and cooling expenses. This solution complements Beacons focus on Layer 1 infrastructure, and when combined with ITS Management, could put significant capital dollars back into the IT and facilities budgets. Our team is ready to work with SAIC to bring the industry-best ITS infrastructure solutions to our clients.”

Founded in 1969, SAIC is a Fortune 500® scientific, engineering, and technology applications company that uses its deep domain knowledge to solve problems of vital importance to the nation and the world, in national security, energy and the environment, critical infrastructure, and health. The company’s approximately 45,000 employees serve customers in the U.S. Department of Defense, the intelligence community, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, other U.S. Government civil agencies and selected commercial markets. SAIC had annual revenues of $10.8 billion for its fiscal year ended January 31, 2010.

“We look forward to working with Beacon on joint client opportunities to deliver best-in-class ITS solutions which this specific market demands.
