American Pacific Corporation's Utah Operations Named Outstanding Manufacturer of The Year

LAS VEGAS, March 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Pacific Corporation's (AMPAC) (Nasdaq: APFC - News) Utah Operations (AMPAC Utah Operations) was honored with the 2008 Outstanding Manufacturer of The Year Award at the 58th annual Cedar City Area Chamber of Commerce awards and installation banquet on February 5, 2009. The award was sponsored by Cedar City Motor Sports.

The award is given annually to a business that has positively contributed to the local community. AMPAC Utah Operations is an active and committed member of the Cedar City community, believing that core to the success of a business is a sustainable and strong workforce, solid infrastructure and a commitment to the future. Cedar City has been the home of AMPAC Utah Operations since 1989.
