Press Release - American CareSource Holdings, Inc. (XSI-AMEX)

wpe11.jpg (7184 bytes)

“If you look at a graph of what ancillary care spend looks like between 1980 and today, ancillary care spend in 1980 was roughly 25% of the overall healthcare spend at that point in time in the nation, today it represents north of 30% which makes it a nearly $600 billion market for services. It is taking a larger share of the pie and is expected to do so over time. For us we feel like we are uniquely positioned in the space. We are not aware of another business similar to ours...” - Steven J. Armond (XSI) (Interview published April 18, 2008)

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - September 29, 2008) -

American CareSource Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: ANCI) announced today that it has signed a new client service contract with JMS and Associates, Inc., to provide a full range of ancillary care services, initially to one of JMS' key clients, Insurance Design Administrators (IDA). By providing our affordable ancillary healthcare benefits to IDA, a leading company in the field of self-funded health benefits plans, we will help to enhance their focus of offering high quality services. IDA's strong presence across the United States, and in particular, the Northeast, will also allow us to gain a foothold in this all important market. By making American CareSource's ancillary care services available to our clients, we are providing yet another value-added solution to counter rising health care costs."

Paul Sabina, President of IDA, added, "Our agreement with American CareSource enables us to proactively respond to the continuous changes in the healthcare industry.
