WPCS Completes Wireless Inventory Tracking Project

WPCS International Incorporated (Nasdaq: WPCS), a leader in design-build engineering services for specialty communication systems and wireless infrastructure, has announced that, through its SECS subsidiary, it has completed the installation of a wireless network for inventory tracking for the Ports of Lake Charles, Louisiana and Pascagoula, Mississippi.

The network was designed and deployed for Gearbulk, a leader in international shipping and high quality transportation services for various industrial sectors. Headquartered in Tampa, Florida, Gearbulk operates the world's largest fleet of open hatch gantry craned vessels, specifically designed and equipped to transport products such as non-ferrous metals. The wireless inventory tracking system works in conjunction with hand-held units. The network is comprised of thirty wireless access points and associated hardware. The wireless inventory tracking system will allow Gearbulk and its port operations to track all products flowing in and out in real-time.
