8, 2013 CEOCFO: Mr. Adamopoulos, would you tell us about Protera Technologies? Mr. Adamopoulos: Protera is a full service Cloud Services provider for the IT market and SAP-centric organizations. We provide a cloud platform where an SAP-centric company can run all its applications including SAP, mobility, exchange, web sphere, Citrix and many other applications they may have. In addition, we also incorporate network solutions in order to provide the full IT platform to our customers.
CEOCFO: Are there particular industries or types of businesses that you focus on? Mr. Adamopoulos: The industries are not important to us because we are covering all the technology layers which are similar to each industry like consumer products and chemicals. We do cover and support almost all of the verticals and have references in each of these verticals.
CEOCFO: Why do people want to use Protera versus the other options available? Mr. Adamopoulos: While we are a global Cloud services provider we operate as a family owned company with personalized service to our customers. We offer a full hosting platform for a company to run its business at very affordable prices but we don’t compromise on quality. We are a pioneer of Cloud based services and hold all the hosting certifications by SAP AG.
CEOCFO: Would you give us an example of the distinguishing factors of your customer service? Mr. Adamopoulos: One of the main aspects is that the each customer is assigned named senior consultants that they can call to get support. We have primary and secondary consultants that become experts in our customers’ applications. The customers can reach out to them and discuss their needs and problems. Having dedicated consultants for each customer is a key differentiation. We also have an extremely robust help desk that monitors all the requests from customers and ensures that all requests are handled in a timely manner. Our ITIL based processes and automations ensure the highest quality of service.
CEOCFO: What are one or two of more of the unusual features that your system can help a company with? Mr. Adamopoulos: It is our cloud based operational platform which integrates core technical and process elements needed for an SAP-centric company to run its business on including networks. Our platform can integrate all customer applications allowing them to access each other. It can also connect all the remote customer locations worldwide with the headquarters for functions such as file printing and sharing, while ensuring secure access across the whole company.
CEOCFO: Why do you feel SAP is a good system for a company to start with? Mr. Adamopoulos: One of the main reasons we focus on SAP is that our senior management, including myself, worked with SAP for the last 20 years. We understand the product very well and have the deep expertise required to provide the best service to our customers. We believe that SAP has the richest solution in terms of functionality and the ability to support international requirements. It aligns with our vision of being a global hosting, Cloud services company that supports SAP across the globe.
CEOCFO: Do you have many customers outside of the U.S. or is that an area you are looking to grow? Mr. Adamopoulos: We have customers in Latin America and Europe. We support global customers who have presence in Asia as well.
CEOCFO: How do you reach potential customers? Mr. Adamopoulos: The channel is a very important aspect of our business. Our direct sales force is also very successful since we have a very favorable reputation in the SAP space. The most important source of customers is references: it is the best way to win new business.
CEOCFO: Do companies take advantage of the full range of your services? Mr. Adamopoulos: Some of them utilize the full platform. Some start smaller and once they feel comfortable with our platform they start expanding with more services. Selling to our existing customer base is a very successful aspect for our business.
CEOCFO: How is business these days? Mr. Adamopoulos: It is extremely good. We are growing at a pace of fifty percent plus a year primarily due to the demand for Cloud services and the need for a platform that serves all the needs of our customers. Customers recognize their cost savings of our cloud based hosting platform.
CEOCFO: Are most customers happy with the Cloud today and willing to transfer over or is there still some resistance? Mr. Adamopoulos: Some customers have security and reliability concerns of the Cloud platform but we are able to prove to them that our cloud platform is very mature and safe. We see more and more clients adapting the Cloud services and they would never consider to go back.
